Combining pop, classical and techno influences and carrying a genuine multi-ethnic charisma, the provocative blend of Latin heritage and Electronic Contemporary compositions by Mario Vaz De Mello -- overflowing with endless and inspiring visual suggestions -- breaks new musical ground.

Artist History

To date Mario has created more than sixty original soundtracks for international stage and screen productions; his music is being continuously performed in Europe, Latin America and The United States. He has also released two CDs ("Bamboo Shadows" and "Inevitable"), through VMA Records.  A list of his recent collaborations reveals such diverse artists as singers Art Garfunkel, Michael Feinstein, Bebel Gilberto, and show business legends Hal Prince, George Loros, Billy Stritch and Michael Gibson. He also contributed to various projects for companies such as NBC Network, Dreamworks Studios, New Yorker Films, The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization and La MaMa Theater.
